It's really quite a place to visit. I did find the clutter to get in the way and inside the light was quite similar on all sides. So nothing dramatic. I think my favorites are the image of the wagon wheels and the one of the green train wheels.

The East Building Had Leaks

I was so lucky that my walks to and from the East Building were between downpours and I had a great time. I took advantage of the museum leaks that created interesting stripes on the wall. A new exhibit had really interesting pieces to photograph too. Leslie

TRI with phone - not sharp but fun.

TRI and focus peaking

Well, I am so pleased with the results of my first attempt at focus peaking. Can do better but my images are significantly sharper this trip. Also, after settling on the focus, I zoomed the focus area so I could double check the sharpness. These are my favorites. Leslie

Chasing the Light

I too chased the light and many times lost it before I was ready. I missed the good light on the white house and was challenged with the brightness of the setting sun. Leslie

At least it was nice and dry inside but we could have used a little more light. Here are two I am pleased with. The second is still a hair off kilter but impossible to adjust more and keep the line at the top straight. Leslie

a challenging afternoon at Huntley

Unremarkable Huntley Sunset

We saw some spots of great light but they quickly disappeared and the marsh and woodlands are too chaotic to find a composition. A lovely swan came up behind me on the boardwalk. With a quick swivel and resetting my camera I did capture him/her twice. Leslie
