Good to be outside even though the light wasn't great!

The bugs were nasty and the light only fair but I still had a great time at Huntley Meadow. However, I found that with the mosquitos biting I did not feel able to spend time on an image in the woods; it was better on the boardwalk. Bug spray is already in my bag for next time. The light was not golden as in the fall but pretty still; and wonderful to be outside. I was practicing with my new 70-200mm lens. Leslie

Adding street photos at NGA East Building

I too was taken by the large percentage of visitors taking selfies or texting on their phones. The photos selected touched me either by their color or the subject's expression. Leslie
