I like how close you got to the heron; what was your focal length? Also your colors are nice and bright; did you adjust in LR?
the lens was my 12 to 100 which is 24 to 200 in your world. As for color is did white balance, some adjusting with highlights and shadows and then used the profiles.
Ok I was no longer than 120mm full frame and didn't adjust any color or white balance.
