Huntley Meadows with signs of spring's approach

Today at Huntley Meadows it was warm but wind was cold and biting. There are signs of the coming spring in the woodland and marsh. Green underbrush is more visible, sprouts are growing in the marsh and trees are beginning to bud.

1. 135mm, ISO 64, 1/100 at f4.8. My long lens will only open up this far for shallow DOF.


2. Same tree but my camera is set to take a 1 x 1 image. Camera settings are the same as the above image.


3. Tana saw this before I did and it appears that the goose is relating directly with the attentive turtles.
Camera has the same settings as above images. This too is shot as 1x1 aspect ratio. Leslie

    For the quality of the day, windy and flat light you did get some interesting photos.

    This is a great moment with the turtles. You might try crop some off the bottom so they come into better view.
